Interview of committee members

You will find here a small interview proposed to the members of the committee in order to get to know them better.

Why be part of this non-profit organization?

I have been part of non-profit organizations for more than 15 years. I like to give back to different communities and when the discussion began for BOTRL it was an easy decision to join.

What is your role in the non-profit organization?

Currently I’m in charge of our website development and maintenance.

If you could choose, would you have another role within the non-profit organization?

No, I feel comfortable where I’m at.

Which message to send, by this non-profit organization, is the most important for you?

Have fun while playing with friends.

What do you hope for the future of the non-profit organization?

I hope we grow consistently and have more on site events.

When did you fall into video games?

1991-1992 when I first got my GameBoy with Super Mario Land and Tetris. Yep I’m that old.

What do you find most enjoyable in video games?

When a game has a good story it’s the most enjoyable for me. Graphics and gameplay are important but nothing beats a game with a good story.

Risky question: Retro or New?

Both sometimes I just have the urge to bust out the RASPBERRY PI and play some old NES games.

What is your favourite franchise / game?

Zelda Series

From Software game -> Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro

Final Fantasy

If a retro game were to have the right to a Remaster, which game would you choose? (choose a game that has not had a Remaster)

Legend of Dragoon master piece of a JRPG that unfortunatly got overshadowed by Final Fantasy at the time

What is your favorite console (excluding PC)?

Playstation, clearly.

You have the opportunity to put yourself in the shoes of a video game producer, present your game to us. Title, graphic style, game style (RPG, FPS, etc.), short summary:

Legend of Naria, JRPG, 128bit graphic. Story is a secret.
